On my drive home, there was this headlight twitching at me. Can they do that? Are they allowed to do that? At first it looked like a malevolent twitch. Always in my rear-view mirror, following me, twitching in an evil way that only a twitching headlight could. I always felt that an artist writes his best in a time of great emotion. That a painter creates a work so incredibly beautiful, after watching it shine with glory in his head for days. Of course I learned later that an artist may have but a blank page in mind with the first brushstrokes, knowing only that he must paint. I feel cold. Lost on a winters night I wander amongst the slush of dreams, Wondering if I will come upon Something soft and beautiful. Of course, dreams are dreams, And deaf ears are so needed, Thus my hopes don't make the mistake of rising, Only to fall again so far. But perhaps, one of these falls, I just might manage to land On that dream? Even then, the dream surely can't hold my weight. Dear God, I guess I haven't written much lately. I haven't been having an easy time of it lately, but, then again, my hard work has been paying off. I haven't been able to enjoy it much, but it has been paying off. Stopping to enjoy is something I haven't done a whole lot of lately. Chapter 6 The, now open, doors revealed a very large room. Like the first room Amanda woke up in and the hallways, this one was lit by only candles on the walls. I am one of those oh-so-common teens that have a hard time trying to stop complaining, when life really is not all that hard. I enjoy fantasy and emotions, so I really love this site. This really doens't deserve a title.

Well, I wrote a snippet a while back and liked it so much, I wanted to write more. But it seems I can never feel inspired anymore, and when I've got pen hovering over paper my mind feels and blank as the page. But for those of you who read anything of mine, I wanted to say thanks, and promise that whenever I write something, I'll make every effort to place it on Deviant. I love all you guys and it depresses me to see 84 deviations I haven't viewed(and I'm only watching those people who don't have 30+ watchers!) so I'm going to get back on that track as well, if I can. I love all you guys. I hope you continue to be incredibly inspired. Jake.

Getting Back Onto the Rails With Ideas for a Train

Ok, well, I think I may be getting on top of things once more. School is horrible, as always, but I may just be able to keep writing. I've got an idea for a metaphor story of myself, but I don't want to have to explain it, it would be nice if I could express myself and have others get something out of it as well. Hopefully, I can be ambiguous enough, and yet expressive enough, and find that balance. Any help concerning finding this balance would be much appreciated (though not on my grammar. That would take pages of correction ;) )! I still continue trying to look at all the deviations coming in. I try to hit the ones that don't receive much

It's Been a While ...

Well, year, it's certainly been a while since I last posted any sort of journal, so I thought I'd better get on it now before it never gets done :P insomuch as writing goes, I haven't written much ... not sure why. I'm a little unmotivated and I have a lot of schooling to fight through at the moment, so It's definitely going to be difficult for the next month or two. However, if I can possibly find time, I'm going to try to post stuff. I may pull out some old stuff and see how that goes. I have one or two good ones back here ... *rummages around* Anyway.
